A little about me:

I’ve lived in Columbus for almost three years, but my photography career started in 2019 by taking senior portraits for friends as a side gig during college. Shooting weddings was a hard “no” for me until 2021, when my friends asked me to capture their day and I (nervously) said yes. I didn’t anticipate how much I would love capturing all of that emotion and the fast pace of the shooting day. The joy and connection that happens during a wedding day was truly enthralling to me!

Photography is part-time for me, which means I’m very intentional about the clients and projects I take on. In addition to photographing people, I work in social media and food photography for Tastes of Lizzy T, where I’m usually focused on capturing just the right detail—whether that’s a chocolate drip or a perfectly styled bite. I also work part-time as a wedding florist with Flocal Co. in Grandview, Ohio, which gives me an even deeper appreciation for the behind-the-scenes work that goes into a wedding day.

All of these roles inform how I photograph: I pay attention to details, I understand the flow of events, and I value collaboration and care.

I’ve been married to my husband, Josh, for almost 3 years. He occasionally joins me as a second shooter (huge marriage perk!) On a slow day, you’ll usually find me reading, baking something new, or doing something that lets my creative brain rest—like crocheting, playing guitar, or decluttering my home. Also, I’m a morning person: besides a wedding night, I’m almost always in bed by 9:30 pm!

What you need to know:

I’m drawn to honesty more than perfection. I love photographing couples on their best days, their tired days, and their emotional days. I don’t come into a wedding or session with a rigid posing agenda or a loud, bubbly presence. Instead, I aim to be calm, observant, and encouraging, giving you space to be present with your partner or what’s happening around you.

On wedding days especially, I care deeply about capturing the tone of the day: the energy in the room, the small details you chose thoughtfully, and the candid moments happening just outside the spotlight. The result is a collection of images that truthfully reflects your day, with all of its highlights, hiccups, mud, sweat and tears. I really mean that–I cried through my whole ceremony and love looking back to remember how much that moment meant to me (even though it isn’t “instagram-worthy”).

If you’re someone who’s content letting moments unfold—who doesn’t want to be overly directed or constantly aware of the camera—we’ll likely work very well together.
